Conditions — Recovery

Post surgery

Stage 1: Recovery & stabilisation

We start with a comprehensive assessment of your surgical or fracture site and the surrounding joints. This helps us identify muscle weakness, stiffness, or compensation patterns. From here, we'll design a tailored treatment plan focused on pain relief, mobility restoration, and safe movement progression.

Stage 2: Functional re-education & prevention

Once you're moving more freely, we'll focus on retraining your movement patterns, rebuilding strength, and addressing any biomechanical issues that could cause setbacks. We work closely with your consultant or surgeon, ensuring your recovery aligns with clinical expectations and keeps you on track.

Stage 3: Performance & long-term recovery

In this phase, the goal is to restore full function but also enhance your performance — whether that means returning to sport, work, or simply pain-free daily activity. We'll fine-tune your movement efficiency, build endurance, and provide you with a home exercise programme so your progress continues even outside the clinic.
